I see some people are finally coming around. The R Party doesn’t represent you, they just want you to shut up and vote.

The only way to fix this is to vote them out in Primary’s. Texas did just that and hopefully Paxton gets in. If you vote independent then the advantage goes to the Democrats. Duh.

LOL.

Yeah, that'll show 'em.

Cutting off your nose to spite your face always works.

The answer to this is not to change your party affiliation to "Independent" (who the frick cares about that?) or to not vote and allow Democrats to win.

The solution is to primary every one of them that is up there right now and replace them with someone who will advance the desired agenda.

We don’t have enough quality people interested. Look what just happened in the VA governor’s race. Not to mention why those assholes don’t want to pass the Save Act nor codify any of Trump’s EO’s. Doing either would mean they give up some power and the ability to grift.

How would you vote differently if you were Independent rather than Republican? I would assume you would vote the most conservative of the candidates - or not vote at all.

They may lose power, but we’re the ones who’ll suffer by not voting for them.

This is what makes this all so cynical and demoralizing. These assholes know this, they know there's no other real choice, so they give voters just enough to vote for them, but never what they really voted for. It's disgusting and it's what makes establishment Republicans the worst of the worst.

As I said 3 years ago, and got DV’ed to Hades, ask yourself why you are still voting GOP.

Look at Crenshaw for example or Ms Lindsey - both pure examples of say one thing and play the other side. Cornyn also another example.

The same party you vote for is using legislation as leverage against their OWN people.

Frick them and frick Mike Johnson

Welcome, James! There are many of us who have supported Trump and despise what the republican party has become.

If voters started making wise choices and doing it in the primaries, you would start seeing some. You might have to start by simply voting out the incumbent each time regardless of who the challenger was, but that would get noticed immediately and Republican pollsters would want to know why. Then we could tell 'em.

Do you have any idea how many Republican voters even bother to vote in Congressional primaries?

It's a little less than 9%. Nine fricking percent.

Republican voters could easily start voting out these assholes—it would only take an additional 10% of already registered voters getting off the couch on primary election day.

It is the way. Not posting about a Uniparty online and declaring yourself an "independent." That's not going to change anything.

It's as if this has never been attempted before.

Nah, only real answer is to deny career politicians.

I know it’s frustrating. More people voted yes on Prop. 10 in Texas than total votes for Cornyn and Paxton combined. Then…a burka wearing democrat won faking like she was a republican in NC. We definitely have a voting turnout problem.

Then why vote in Republican primaries if the Republican Party does not represent you.

This is Third party territory.
