My bud is out in Colorado hiking this week, talked to him this afternoon and he said 6-10 inches of snow in the next two days.

The first real snowfall usually occurs the last week of August, or first week of September.

In astronomy, axial precession is a gravity-induced, slow, and continuous change in the orientation of an astronomical body's rotational axis. In particular, it can refer to the gradual shift in the orientation of Earth's axis of rotation in a cycle of approximately 25,772 years.

Supposedly, we're around the area where the Earth is at the farthest tipping point. If any of y'all are around in another 12,000 years, let me know what the weather's like.

I’m currently in my home in Jefferson County Colorado. Expecting a 55 degree temp swing in a 24 hr period with 5-8 inches of snow here.

Earliest first snow in Denver is Sept 3 1961. Average first snow is October 18. So no it doesn't normally snow this early.

It's hot as seven hells in Oklahoma right now but we're expecting to get snow in the panhandle in two nights. Not really unusual at all, either. Maybe just a little earlier of an arctic blast than normal.

frick the liberal "global warming" nonsense.

I live half the year in SW MT. Snowed on me this afternoon as I was doing chores. For 10 minutes it was like a whiteout. On Saturday it hit the high 80’s. I ran this morning in shorts and a short sleeve shirt.

My hometown on the Wyo/Neb border had a high of 89 and low of 27 today. Several inches of snow expected.

Western Plains weather gets wacky every year. Usually moreso in the spring though

Yeah we've had two days of 90+ highs and tomorrow morning should start snowing and eventually get to 25 degrees. Weird arse weather. But no global warming.

I hope it’s a wet heavy snow and it covers the state 2 feet deep and just puts those damn fires out!

That smell didn't bother me while I was growing up. But goddamn, if you are near Greeley the air is 20% oxygen, 80% cow farts
