How do you feel about the FBI lying to FISA courts and spying on political candidates?

It was your party that sided with black lives matter extremists and held up thugs like Mike Brown as martyrs.

There was actually a push from libertarians to reform policing, but then liberals hijacked the movement and turned it into an us vs them, black vs white thing. Upon hearing chants of "we want dead cops" and watching terrorists murder officers in Dallas and Baton Rouge, rational people sided with the police.

That said, democrats sure as shite blindly sided with Comey, the FBI, Mueller, etc when it comes to them abusing power to get Trump.

Oh you mean the one that's looking like a strong case? fricking morons. You idiots are pretending a deep state is framing Trump when evidence keeps surfacing.

I've been in federal law enforcement for over 4 years now, and I can tell you that our jobs have changed drastically in that time period for the worse. I'm not a police officer either, I can't imagine how much theirs have changed.

It used to be that jackasses resisting arrest, running from us, using their cell phone to film themselves being arrested, and/or shouting about some obscure law that they think will "protect" them were VERY rare. Now it's just a case of "here we go again... 5th one this week."

It's absolutely the media's fault for making our jobs 10x harder. It has to stop.

accountability

In an era when the nut-slobbering has reached the point of automatically fawning over every cop and firefighter -- regardless of ability or integrity -- to the point of having something called "The First Responders Bowl" football game... Then good luck with that.

know a LOT of cops. My only pet peeve is seat belt laws. When I bring this up with the cops I lift weights with they all say the same thing:
'You're right, Zach, laws which only protect you from yourself are illogical. But we use that one to stop suspicious cars to check for illegal drugs. If a cop stops you for seat belts and then realizes you don't have any drugs... and he still gives you a ticket, then he's just a jack arse.'

I wear a seatbelt. Not because it’s the law, but because I feel safer doing so.

However...for those who think that seatbelt laws are anything other than revenue generators, I have 4 words for you: motorcycles and school buses.

Correct.
No need to "pretend" anymore. Evidence has established it.

I score jobs by how much I'd have to be paid to do it:

Major League baseball player: I'd do it for meal money, hotels and travel. IE, I would play for free.

Cop: We can start discussions at 200K per year.

Which brings up the discussion of what makes people what to be cops? At least some of them join up because they like the action. Which is not a good reason to become a cop.

I feel like attitudes would be improved if we didn't have cops sitting on every corner trying to pull people over for every little thing.

Yet people like you say we shouldn't have guns because the police will protect us
