You idiots are pretending a deep state is framing Trump
This is why I rarely waste my time discussing anything with you moonbats. Anyone now denying that a phony unverified dossier was used to secure a warrant to spy on Trump's campaign just isn't living in reality.
That said, your side runs around pretending that whitey police officer is out murdering "gentle giants" like Mike Brown who had his 'hands up'.

Gotta disagree here because many of those who get tagged in a wreck and fly through the windshield would be getting a lawyer lined up(or their families would), to sue the other party for totally preventable injuries
quote:
This is silly.
First off, if the accident is YOUR fault, why shouldn't you be liable even if I didn't wear my seatbelt. I mean, if you fire a gun randomly and hit me in the chest, the fact I wasn't wearing a bullet proof vest won't help you in court.
No it's not silly, it is reality. Regardless of the person at fault having to pay, the reality is that insurance will often have to step in and pay for the injuries sustained which were totally preventable then by extension, everyone who has coverage(legally required for all drivers) has to pay for this poor decision of not wearing a seatbelt. The privilege of driving comes with all sorts of requirements and to share the road, one also has to abide by the rules which are set up to, as equitably as possible, protect all the drivers driving. I am all about rights, but driving and what one must do in order to drive is not an inherent right.

I hate the police. Every watch Live PD when the arrest and ruin people’s lives over the most pettiest bullshite?
They find ways to take you to jail
They fricking suck
I was watching an episode last night where three black men were just hanging out at a strip mall while walking home.. had no warrants, no drugs, nothing and they took all three to jail for loitering

I don’t hate the police, hell I know several of them personally as I was born and raised in a small town with them but my interaction with those police officers Wouk be totally different than an interaction I have with a cop 100 miles away from home. Do I trust a cop I don’t know? No, no I do not. That doesn’t mean I hate them it just means I don’t trust them with them having my best intentions front and center.

The police are standing in the way of make-your-own-rules reparation. That's it in a nutshell.

I hate things like civil asset forfeiture, corruption, and ridiculous punishments for non-violent offenders.

I hate the government. And cops are employed to ENFORCE the governments wants.

What we need is about an 80% reduction in the police force, a complete end to swat teams and traffic cops. That would solve a lot of problems.

You're right, Zach, laws which only protect you from yourself are illogical. But we use that one to stop suspicious cars to check for illegal drugs.
This is just another reason for people to dislike cops. If the driver isn't driving dangerously and being a threat to others, then how is the car suspicious? Is it because of how the occupants look? Using dumb laws to investigate and arrest someone minding their own business is a bad look for cops no matter how much you twist it.
Cops saying they don't want to enforce illogical laws created to protect you from yourself but then use those laws and happily arrest people for drug laws that protect people from themselves is rather illogical.

There must be more to the story than that.

How did you reason this out?? Can you connect the dots?

So long as they are revenue generating machines people will rightfully be against them. The police should be tax payer funded and work for the benefit of society. Running radar to hit your quota doesn’t seem to fit that. Theft via CAF doesn’t seem to fit that. The police are a needed force for a modern, functional society. But it’s not just a few bad apples, money has begun to rot the core of it.

Agreed.
But doesn't it all fall back to the politicians? The cops are following statutes that they didn't write.

Our current system that protects bad apples relies on the good cops to keep their mouths shut

I don't think that would apply if something is found during an interview of a complaint or a records check for warrants etc.
