If someone doesn't come up with another more conservative party or two at this point, it'll never happen. Anyone hearing any actual rumblings on this, or is everyone waiting on Trump to start something new?

I left the GOP about 5 years ago because of the unity that they have with the Dems. For decades they played in public as polar opposites but behind closed doors, they really stood for the same things; a bigger more oppressive federal government, insane amounts of spending, and trashing our Bill of Rights. I thought my home was the LP National party but after being in it for a year, I quickly found out that those guys care more about saying, "We are not Republicans" than they do about standing for freedom. If you are a liberty loving conservative that values the Bill of Rights and the principles of limited government, which was the dream of the founders, you're like me... politically homeless.

I am for taking over the Republican party. Starting a new party would be extremely difficult.

Most important is taking over the MSM first or at least getting 50/50 opinion split on news broadcasts.

Why not just take back our party? It is ours afterall.
The very people causing us to think about leaving are where they are because we allow them to be. We allow them to cause us to want to leave the party.

The best course of action is to infiltrate the GOP. The cards are unfairly stacked against any 3rd party. You will not even be placed in the debates.

I’m changing my party affiliation the day Biden is allowed to place his hand on the Bible.

Because it's overwhelmingly held by establishment folks who do not represent the base that supports Trump

Yeah it's time for an actual conservative party to rise up.

And just to get ahead of it: No, the modern Libertarian Party is not conservative.

I will continue to vote for conservative candidates, regardless of party, but Richard Shelby better be retiring because I don't see how I could possibly vote for him again.

I already left. Democrats will say it was because of the election, but that was just the breaking point for me. I havent been happy with them since all the bitching they did with the Affordable Healthcare Act, with absolutely no replacement plan.

That really showed me the true colors of what a politician is today.

Did the same about the same time. Registered Republican in '88 and voted straight GOP for years and years until McCain, and then Romney when I voted Libertarian. Disliked Trump so I did the same in 2016.*

The GOP has been useless for a while now. I want no part of run of the mill Republicans, so it's nice of them to want to get rid of folks like me I guess.

* Excitedly voted for Trump in 2020 though. He earned my vote.

Lynchpin of any successful Conservative party going forward will be the Latino vote.

No other path to success.

There's three people in the RNC that are worth a flying shite.

I agree with this and they are the fastest growing demographic, so it would future-proof the party.

Semantics.
Doesn’t matter at this point.
I’d say, what matters is how you vote.
But we all know that’s not true either.

I was very excited about the new Trump-style Republican Party, but it looks like they wasted no time in casting that entire movement aside.

It's abundantly clear that the GOP did not adopt Trump style policies or behavior. At best, they sat quietly on the side riding his coattails. At worst, they openly campaigned against him.
