Usmc veteran and father of 4 children. I have a spotless record. Own my own company and employ 10 individuals. These past 2 years have been tough on everyone in my industry due to extreme rise in input cost.

All the while Ukraine keeps getting billions and illegals get handouts.

Really makes me question what the hell I was fighting for.

You were fighting for a nation that has maintained in spite of being under constant threat of takeover by Marxists and globalists. That nation was once great, the same nation that my grandfathers fought for in the European Theater during WWII.

Unfortunately, the full takeover and color revolution happened in November of 2020. That America that we all adored and loved, is gone. The only hope left is separation, to save at least some of this country.

I will pray for you and your family, Marine. That's all I can do, but it's something. I'm frustrated that we are where we are and I didn't even choose to serve, so I can't even begin to imagine how deep your frustrations go.

I feel for you OP. The government cares about outsiders more than they care for their own citizens. This country is beyond fricked up.

So we should just bail this dude out because he can't run his business?

If the only two options for the money we have wasted on Ukraine is to either help out OP and people like him or continue to fund Ukraine pensions then sign me up for helping the OP.

Is that what he said? It's probably more about reducing government spending. What was the cost of the wall we couldn't afford vs how much we have laundered in Ukraine. You are insufferable!

Of course that's a big if and not an option

I don't think we should be bailing out any failed business owners personally

As a person who was a business man some people do need help.
If the business has a true ability to make money, while needing some guidance the government should have programs vs helping countries like Ukraine.

Unfortunately, some business are just that bad on paper or the economy shifting away from their goods or service it is not worth saving.

I agree and I think what that person meant by helping its citizens out more than Ukraine is that printing money out of thin air is continuing to cause inflation that is hurting many Americans.

What is the total now? It's well over $100 billion.

We could have offered that as low-interest loans to struggling businesses and been better off.

Ukraine sucks frick them. I’d rather help veterans with that money. Hell I’d rather that money go to animal shelters for that matter.

Sir, the Ukraine war had nothing to do with your bankruptcy.

US handing out money like candy to whatever country we want political control over has a very direct effect on the value of our currency. Foreign aid is one of the largest line items for a government that can’t find its way out of a $34T hole.
