From gender creativity to uber rape culture more child abuse from liberals. WaPo actually published this insane person tacitly supporting her child abuse.

What a privileged whiny bitch.

ETA: The fact she has the time, resources, and freedom to write this drivel is proof that she's completely full of shite.

Got through a few paragraphs and read

As a single mother

and now I totally understand.

One of my sons was hurt by my words, although he’s never told me so. He doesn’t understand why I lumped him and his brother together in my essay. He sees himself as the “good” one, the one who is sensitive and thoughtful, and who listens instead of reacts. He doesn’t understand that even quiet misogyny is misogyny, and that not all sexists sound like Twitter trolls. He is angry at me now, although he won’t admit that either, and his anger led him to conservative websites and YouTube channels; places where he can surround himself with righteous indignation against feminists, and tell himself it’s ungrateful women like me who are the problem.

That's a boy who's gonna hate his mother.

And it may keep him sane. We can hope.

My sons won’t rape unconscious women behind a dumpster, and neither will most of the progressive men I know. But what all of these men share in common, even my sons, is a relentless questioning and disbelief of the female experience. I do not want to prove my pain, or provide enough evidence to convince anyone that my trauma is merited. I’m through wasting my time on people who are more interested in ideas than feelings, and I’m through pretending these people, these men, are safe.

How people can conjure up these premises in their heads is a total and complete mystery to me. I can't figure out if it's just a complete over-analyzation of every minute detail of 3rd wave feminism or if it's just a complete lack of critical thinking skills.

You should read the story where she talks about one of her sons being committed to a medical facility because of suicidal thoughts. Of course, that story is all about her too.

I think I've figured out the general process of the types of ridiculous articles.

Step 1: Find an idea with something that has a basis that is generally agreed upon.

Step 2: Write an article about that idea.

Step 3: Take that idea to the most irrational exteme. Maximize emotional-appeals.

Step 4: Because some will question the rationality in step 3, ensure to express that you're visiting for a moral and just cover.

Step 5: Because some people won't fall for steps 3 and 4, ensure that those who fell for it believe that the skepticism is morally unjust and unacceptable. This keeps the skeptics quiet.

Step 6: Publish article and use it to promote yourself and gain fame, opportunities, and profit $$$$

I love my sons, and I love some individual men. It pains me to say that I don’t feel emotionally safe with them, and perhaps never have with a man, but it needs to be said because far too often we are afraid to say it. This is not a reflection of something broken or damaged in me; it is a reflection of the systems we build and our boys absorb.

Well, honey, it's not just men, I'm a woman and I laugh at your scared little feelings which you obviously perpetuate with your lack of self-confidence. In fact, I might even slap you in the face if we crossed paths and had an actual convo.

Well and I think the funny part is this little tidbit:
quote:

I don’t feel emotionally safe with them
Basically she's describing the stress and excitement of relationships, love, and attraction. It can be intimidating, confusing, frustrating, and an emotional drain. But it can be fun, exciting, and comforting all the same.

She basically described human nature, and presented as some dramatic social issue.
