I just had a signed job offer rescinded because I was trying to split the baby and sent a doctors letter saying I should delay until the new Novovax was released in a few months. They kept saying vaccines weren’t required for remote sales and I kept saying I had no problem getting it, but preferred to wait per doctors advice.

I’m fricking devastated - I’d been waiting on an opportunity like this for 3 years and now it’s gone. I’d even have gotten the damned vaccine if it was an ultimatum, but once things get to HR you lose control quickly and I didn’t even get the chance to make the decision.

This has been the most challenging 3 month period of my life - this is new low point today, I’ve been picking myself up and staying as positive as can be, but I’m not sure how much longer I can keep persevering. I honestly feel like starting last summer I’ve entered a bizarre nightmare life and I can’t seem to find the escape hatch to get back to normal.

HIPPA doesn't apply to this, they can ask you.

Praying for you.

I’d start looking for a new job because this will be the next step for a lot of companies

I'm considering getting the vaccine, but I'd quit if my job requires it.

However, their action unvaccinated affects your bottom line.

Doubt that? Look at the NFL Rule involving a population of athletes well under the danger zones. Infected and unable to play in a high percentage impacts everyone’s pay and involves forfeits. That also impacts TV revenue as well.

That is a private company.

Might not be what you want to hear now but probably a blessing that they rescinded. Hang in there I’m sure you will find what you are looking for.

I am VP of Operations in a large multi national corporation. Your employer can and will fire you for not getting vaccinated IF they institute a mandatory vaccine policy. This is allowed per EEOC guidelines.

A policy like that adversely affects the black population since blacks have chosen to be vaccinated far less than whites.

You can’t fire black people under the pretense of the vaccination.

My company just announced that masks will be required for non-vaccinated. We are returning to office in September. I’m not sure how they will find out who has been jabbed. Company meeting next week to discuss.

I wonder how many of the people that were fired from that hospital in Houston were black?

178 people were cut at roughly 13.5% of the population that would put the estimate of how many were fired that were black at around 23.

We live in a world where voter is laws are unconstitutional because of adverse impact.

A single letter accusing / notifying the company that a forced vaccination policy is simply a defacto way of thinning blacks from the company and or removing black applicants is the legal path of fighting fire with fire.

You need to get off of the fake news. More people are dying from the vaccine than from a Covid cold.

It's a bold strategy, but bold moves often pay off.

I wonder how long until someone uses that as the basis for a lawsuit? If a couple of guys on TD can think of it, you have to believe there's a smart lawyer out there looking for a client.
