I think that is true if we allow the news media and Hollywood, to paint the picture.

Not so true,IMO, in the heartland and smaller towns and cities throughout America.

Cleanse yourself with the blood of Christ, love your family like there won’t be a tomorrow, buy ammo.

Good news is La along with most of the south has trigger laws that ban infanticide as soon as Roe v. Wade is overturned.

i think there are things slightly more important than Roe v Wade going on right now

Pretty sure his point was that you didn't strive for righteousness. But keep pretending otherwise and see how well it goes over at the pearly gates.

Jesus says to repent and walk in righteousness, so that’s what I gladly do because he gave himself up for me. We are all sinners, only Jesus can save you. You will face God after you die, are you ready? I pray that you are because I love you.

An infanticidal society will not flourish; it will putrefy. Even if there isn’t a god.

These are the times where bravery and courage are needed. If you do not accept the mark of the beast you will not be allowed to buy or sell anything. It is happening, and will only get worse, but Do not be afraid.
This too shall pass. It is but a blip in the night.
Those who are patient and prevail through the suffering will receive heaven. Those who do not, will not receive heaven. Do not be afraid because you are the light of the world, the salt of the earth. Turn your hearts to God and stay focused on the prize of heaven. Nothing else on earth is more important. Help others stay focused because God wins in the end, and the woman steps on the serpents head.

I agree to a point, but don't project the countries politicians views and belief on the general population. We voted them out but they cheated to get in.

All of you are unabashedly pathetic for trying to bring God into your politics.

He is not democratic or republican...black or white.

He is impartial and looks down on every nation on earth needing redemption, not just one.

We get it. Your guy lost. Let’s twist our hurt feelings into a thing called faith.

Not how it works. Not even close. Don’t put your trust in man. Jer. 17:3

Luckily for us, on the judgment day, we won’t be judged as a corporate body, but as an individual.

There has always been evil, we just have 24 hour coverage of it now and of course there are a lot more people. The last 50 years have been, less wicked in than the rest of American history which has been fraught with periods of slavery, genocide, scandal, lawlessness and war. Just my opinion though.

This.

1971-2021 America is Disney World compared to our early history.

This is why I think the book of Revelation is the only book that has a blessing for those who read it. It displays the future horror coming to this world but God promises that He is there for us and provides a great future. In short, it's going to be a rough ride but it all works out in the end.

There it is.

One can watch commercials for ten minutes and pretty much define American Culture. I.e., the minds of the Citizenry. Idolatry ("the worship of things made with the hands"),with the addictive Digital Reality at the fore; Consumerism (Corporate profit-motivated); moving toward Secular Humanist, I.e., that Humans have no Soul and are therein 'expendable' where required.

It is not that any of these things are innately evil...just that they promote a world view that is polar to real Spirituality. 'Real' Spirituality being a matter of Vision and/or Perception; I.e., Feeling.

We dig for arrowheads by the River, on occasion...and I imagine how the Indians who lived there in those days, woke up every morning, very secure, no need to fight traffic or throw their children in a day care and go off some hectic and routing 'job' for most of life. And what for...'freedom'...'security'...satisfaction? Vision?

Our people are good for the most part; IMO, we are God's Chosen, and blessed. But we/our culture...has become relatively lost. And because of that, challenges to our version of Religion/Spirituality/Government rise up to challenge our 'Christian' Nation. Worthy challenge at that. Obviously, as opposing Ideological forces win battles.

"Where there is no vision, my people die". I think you are right, Chrome...it will be a "rough ride"; but if our journey is truly eternal...then the wisdom gained will set us on an eternal path of prosperity.

Suffering and pain are precursors for building a character of empathy and compassion...and a true understanding of how to create a Just Society. As such, the coming "fiery trial that shall try (perfect) your faith"...will be our ticket to paradise. Supreme irony...but nonetheless true.

Or else it's 'one and done' and back to non-existence.
