I will just hang out here in Independent land, hoping one day one party decides to stop printing money and destroying the middle class.

Absolutely NOT. No center right person should. I voted for Ross Perot in '92 thinking an outsider, independent tech billionaire would make a difference. All that it did was split the Repulican vote and 100% get Bill Clinton elected.

Republicans at large had to then suffer through eight years of a dogshit human being president. Learn from the past. Don't repeat completely obvious mistakes. Don't split the party. Stay unified.

Good luck getting that supermajority you'd need. Hell, good luck getting any majority at all

Wait until the platform calls for

unlimited H1Bs
open borders
abortion on demand
legalization of multiple drugs
lowering the age of consent
reestablishment of USAID
Support of LGBTQ
ending capital punishment
criminal justice reform

ya know, all the things in the libertarian platform

It’s not an awful idea. BoomerCons will all be dead in the next 20 years. That’s about how long it would take to gain major traction as a viable party. Who knows what the makeup or credibility of the US will be at that point.

Biggest concerns:

H-1B policy
China ties
AI

It just splits and dilutes the conservative vote. And gives total control to the radical Dems. It’s the oldest move in politics.

Shame on Musk. He must know better.

No

A third party will SPLIT the thinking voters.

That rules out Democrats.

The GOP has been ruined since W, and MAGA is a populist democrat movement.

Trump has more in common with the Long brothers than he does with conservatives.
