3. Do you believe in the sanctity of our borders or the enforcement of laws on the books?
4. What, specifically, do you believe about man made global warming? And, if so, how is a warmer planet worse than a colder planet? Do you actually believe man can control the thermodynamics of this planets temperature?

Most voters don't need a reason for voting a particular way. They just do and don't even try to research what they vote for.

I don’t disagree but I can also tell you the Democrat voters I personally know are generally uniformed or misinformed about political topics of the day. I find most conservatives are more in tune with current political issues and concerns.
