Is it small minded to agree with the 1990s medical community that transgenderism is a mental health issue? Is it also small minded to think that all mental health issues should be addressed medically to prevent harm to society?

I’ve known quite a few gay people over the years, and if I had to guess, only about 10% of them have made it THE defining characteristic of their personality. And the other 90% look down upon them as obnoxious caricatures.
