Cool, your definition of reasonable is subjective and shouldn't be used to restrict the constitutional rights of millions of other law-abiding Americans.

See, I think it’s reasonable if we ban tobacco all together. Save those 500k lives every year. (That is 470k more than guns each year btw)

I also think it is reasonable if we ban any vehicle that exceeds 35 mph. That would save more lives than outlawing guns.

Hell, while we’re at it. We might as well go ahead and Reban alcohol. That seemed to work so well the first time. I mean, after all, it IS about saving lives. And everyone knows alcohol kills more people than firearms every year.

But but but but muh automatic weapons

I have no problem with the ban of bump stocks. They are made for no other reason than to make your semi-auto fire as fast as a full auto.

agreed. i have told friends this for ages. Just make the bump stocks a NFA type accesory if they want it serialized and registered like my suppressor. shite we do that now for full auto pre 86 weapons. pay the tax.

Nah. Repeal the NFA instead.

dude read the fricking NFA!

full auto have been regulated since the 30s.

the fact bump stocks emulate this means there is no reason this should not be either. you thought this shite would fly forever?

Great job Trump. Stick it to these gun loving nuts. Keep making incremental moves until we get to the goal.

And I can do the same thing with a belt loop or rubber bands. It's pointless, and pointless laws shouldn't exist.

I don't own a bumpstock, I think they look dumb as shite. But I care about incremental and systematic encroachments on the Second Amendment, of which this is one.

Lol. We’ve got the most liberal gun laws in the western world. They’re not repealing the NFA.

That’s a pure woulda coulda shoulda pipe dream.

It's going to be funny seeing what comments will be made by the uneducated half-wits supporting this rule change when another loon decides to shoot a bunch of people using a bump stock equipped rifle. There's no public safety improvement, thousands upon thousands of these devices are out there and will always be available, I know LEO's that own them and they aren't turning them in. This is just another example of the level of ignorance gun-control advocates, Fudds, and others wallow in.

A few hundred people in Vegas might disagree with you.

Because, as usual, you're wrong.

What is the purpose of a bump stock? Why would anyone choose to have one?

They are trying to take them away. That is the exact reason why they should be possessed by as many Americans as choose to have them.

So you're telling me I cannot achieve the same rate of fire with rubber bands as I can with a bump stock?

I look forward to hearing your obvious expertise on the subject of firearms.

Nope. I voted for him because I felt he’d be the best choice for this nation and he’s putting us where we need to be.

So In lib world a mass shooter will not procure a bump stock because it’s against the law but will commence with killing dozens or people despite there clearly being laws against murder?
Mandatory drug use in lib world I take it.
