re: If you ever wondered how Hitler could have possibly risen to power, well, you're living it

You realize Hitler didn't wreck Germany's economy. The economy was already wrecked, and he blamed the jews.

I'm almost certain that the economy of Germany was worse after Hitler was out of power than when he took over. In fact, the country was split in two for decades as a result of his actions
If we continue down the path of the socialists of today, expect the same end result

Uh, it wasn't like we had George Washington running against her.

Thank your lucky stars a DIM isn't president, or you would be tracked, jailed, businesses and bank accounts seized, and children removed from your home for not following the party line; HI llary = HI tler
Compare that to this
But muh media

What was there to say, exactly? Maybe you missed the part where I posted that we were fortunate that Trump was president?
Trump - "I have absolute authority, but I will not have to use it"
DIM guvs - "Trump doesn't have absolute authority, but I sure as hell do, and fully intend on using it. In fact, I don't even have to consider the Bill of Rights when I do - Phil Murphy, New Jersey governor

You are rambling and contradicting your original point.
Germany was in the middle of the Great Depression when Hitler took over, and their economy improved. He blamed the Great Depression partially on the Jews.
Post war Germany probably was still better off that Germany during the Great Depression

Are you saying we will have a civil war? Because again, thats not what happened in Germany.

The saying is, "if you ask enough people, you'll finally get to the one person who feels it's their job to say 'NO'".
There's always that one person at work who has to be the "NO" vote. They don't bother with thinking about an alternative way, they just have to say "NO" and move on.
Now, we've all fallen under their supervision.
When I drive by a city walking trail and see that it's been closed, it pisses me off. When I hear that boat ramps have been closed, it pisses me off. When the coast guard is called on a paddle boarder, it pisses me off.
Those people in Greenville, MS, who got tickets for going to church while sitting in their cars, are going to clean that City's clock in court. The solution is to take their asses to court.
People are allowed to visit Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, Menards, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A, Sonic, Wendy's, etc... but they can't go walk the city hiking trail or sit with their family in the city park??
My advice = Take the ticket and get ready to sue their arse.

I don't disagree with your sentiment that city parks should remain open, but just looking at your words, there is probably not an easier defense of the decision than people absolutely need to maintain their homes and purchase food in a crisis. They don't have to go to a city park.
Clogging up the court system, however, is probably good for business, so knock yourselves out.

Well you’re wrong. The hyperinflation after WWI got so fricking bad that the dollar was worth 4,210,500,000,000 marks. That made German currency effectively worthless and everyone starving in the streets. I’d far rather live in West Germany directly after WWII than Germany in the 20s.

Nice article in The Federalist by John Daniel Davidson on this topic.....'The Coronovirus Is Exposing Little Tyrants All Over The Country. I am wondering why everyone is swallowing this for so long. NO ONE is concerned about our Civil Liberties?????
