Just think about all the AMAZING things happening right now. Things you probably NEVER believed would be exposed publicly. Then think about the fact that NONE of it would be happening if Trump hadn't made one small last second head turn before the bullet passed.

Yeah but couldnt God have just prevented the whole assassination scenario from happening altogether? Why does God like to frick around and be right on the edge with such things.

Im enjoying all of the amazing things going on as well, but it’s not some proof of God. We should learn to appreciate the accomplishments of human will power, and the random bits of luck thrown in here and there, that make it all happen.

You don't think that touching on the edge of things changes people's lives? That's the whole point. Preventing something all together is just a non event that touches no one.

(Whether it was God, luck, or fate) Without the assassination attempt, we might not not have the same Donald Trump we have now.

Put God in a box and then get mad He doesn’t act the way you want. That’s sound logic.

True...... but it also could be God's sovereign will! You do you....

I'm believing that God blessed this nation and has given us an opportunity to preserve it.
The responsibility rest soley on we the people to vote in better congressional representation.
It's the only way to true lasting change.

Maybe the attempt is what put Trump over the top to win. Signs from above.

There’s absolutely nothing “logical” about your belief in God. I just cringe when I think about how most of yall believe in the literal Christian god, and then act all weird and superior about it.

He is sovereign and has a plan for everything. It’s kind of like this passage from I Kings 22 describing a seemingly “random” event in a huge battle, which had huge ramifications in the death of King Ahab:

“So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth-gilead. And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself and go into battle, but you wear your robes.” And the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle. Now the king of Syria had commanded the thirty-two captains of his chariots, “Fight with neither small nor great, but only with the king of Israel.”

And when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, “It is surely the king of Israel.” So they turned to fight against him. And Jehoshaphat cried out. And when the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him. But a certain man drew his bow at random and struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate.

Therefore he said to the driver of his chariot, “Turn around and carry me out of the battle, for I am wounded.” And the battle continued that day, and the king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, until at evening he died.”

In the midst of this huge battle, an archer loosed an arrow “at random” and that arrow found its way home to a specific spot on the king that was not protected.

Not trying to draw parallels to the death of the king with the attempt on president, but more so that God uses the seemingly random, things that appear to happen by chance, to use them for His plan.

Only God could orchestrate all of this.

It reminds me of the psalmist crying out to God for help against his enemies again and again and then suddenly there He is in all His Glory and Power and Redemption.

Thank you, Lord! We see you and are humbled!

Or, you know, they are just random things that happen, and we as a species like to try and organize these things and then paint a story around it.

Holy shite (pun intended). If this isn’t sarcasm then it is cringy as hell and makes me very embarrassed of the side I usually vote with.

Loony liberals are evil and pretty stupid in their own right, but super religious conservatives are dumb as hell.

I don't believe in luck or happenstance. Sometimes God will let you go to the edge of the cliff before help comes. Why? He has His reasons, but He hasn't told me yet.

Dude, let it go. It's really OK with me that you don't believe in God. It's your right, I respect that.

I believe in Him with all my heart. That's MY right, isn't it?
