I really like the idea of reducing taxes on products made in the USA. However from the point of view of getting it adequately passed on at the consumer level, who would be the one considering what product to purchase, it seems like it would be better handled at the State level.
For example Texas (and certain other States) allows certain manufacturing exemptions for purchases directly to business related items. It also doesn't add sales to certain items in the grocery store. It would nice to see some coordination between the impending tariffs and increasing incentives for products manufactured in Texas, say a reduced or zero tax on those items, and perhaps a reduced tax rate for USA made products and a higher tax rate for foreign products in line with tariffs. I'd like to know how he can work with the Texas or other States looking to incentivizing business in their respective State.

Don't sign off on the shithole Congress' budget. Go to the American people and explain why you won't. Ask that they contact their Congressmen and work on something reasonable.
