I know that a 0.75 trillion dollar military budget is a little on the high end

The military has been going to battle with archaic machines for decades. It was time to upgrade our defenses. It's money well spent.

As opposed to paying planned parenthood to kill babies.

Ahhh yes Conservatives who claim to care about spending yet remain silent on the literal trillions of dollars we have thrown away on Middle East nation building and pet projects for the Military Industrial Complex we don’t need and will never use.

Do you know the difference between a Conservative and a RINO? Conservatives don't throw money at the wall like liberals and RINO's.

At least liberals have spent well (sarcasm) on their global warming "research". Every time they're proven wrong they change their terminology. Right now it's "climate change".

Responsible spending - paid for by taxes.

Republicans, on the other hand, are all about IRRESPONSIBLE spending - unpaid deficit spending that they lie to their constituents about using false economic 'theories'.

It's your own fault that you're gullible enough to fall for their lies in 2018.

That's why deficits and/or debt goes down under Democrats and their policies, and up under Republicans and their policies. When Republicans want to have a coherent, logical economic policy maybe that will change.

But we both know that won't stop idiots for voting for Republicans then being aghast when they yet again explode the debt.

He's right. Politically, they don't matter all that much. So here we are.

What would you cut to address the deficit and debt? Do not just say the military, either.

The deficit went down nearly every year under Obama - may have ticked up in 2016.

It's already exploded under just 2 years of renewed voodoo economics.

Sad.

what year did Obama have a deficit less than Bush's largest?

What year has a Trump deficit exceeded Obama's largest?

Which is the same as saying the deficit didn’t go down every year under Obama.

In fact, Obama added more to the national debt than ALL of the previous Presidents COMBINED!

Your word parsing won’t sell here.

Even sillier they think they can simply tax "the rich" to balance the budget.

Short of HUGE tax increase on the middle class and/or massive cuts to Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid the budget will never be balanced again.
