Absolutely untrue.

Isn't it true that we owe ourselves most of the debt? Just write it off.

Trump had full Republican control of government and failed - the problem is you need a Democratic president to reign in the Republican impulse to explode the deficit.

Trump doesn't control what Congress does. He wants to cut spending just as he wanted to cut taxes. But Congress only came through on the second one.

The answer to this problem is we need more conservatives. Not just Republicans. RINO's are only looking out for themselves, and the only difference between themselves and liberals is that RINO's are a little more moderate.

The Democrats now have the House, but without the Senate, there isn't anything they can actually do. So they are just going to ramp up their insanity for the next two years, and I believe that is going to crush them in the next election. At that point, I believe we'll begin to see huge bites taken out of the deficit, with a much more conservative House.

What are you going on about? Democrats are ALL about spending. They are all about big government, hand outs for everyone, open borders, and paying for those that flood into this country.

Fake Republicans spend WAY too much, but don't give me that lie about Democrats needing to reign in Republicans.

As I said above, it isn't Republicans, but true conservatives that are going to be willing to cut spending. Trump didn't have enough of those. That isn't his fault.

His actions as president mirrors his actions as a business owner. Run up the debt, no concern about the future

The tax cuts were too deep for corporations, and with defense, Medicare, and Medicaid the majority of spending we need to adjust taxes and spending. Deficits are out of control, and Republicans are silent.

It would be, but if you reduce the incoming revenue stream to intentionally create insurmountable insolvency, there is no possibility of improving the balance sheet.

At what point has Trump advocated for spending more? The only thing he has tried to do is to get Congress to spend the money where it is needed. Democrats waste money.

And You don't get to be a billionaire by running up debt. He had some trouble one time in his career, and he quickly turned it around. Good business people learn from mistakes.

Dad's millions? He's a billionaire. He had some financial trouble in the 90's, and managed to get himself back up just fine.

But I guess you'd know better, internet warrior.
