Something like if SFP reaches 1,000 downvotes in a thread an automated donation of $1 is sent to the Special Olympics. I would fund the first $100.

Tulsi is fine as long as the Grand Conspiracy of Everything investigation continues. Once that gets shot down her position could be at risk.

Vance isn’t going anywhere. He’s tethered to Iran just as much as Trump despite trying to distance himself.

- Vance does seem to be out of the spotlight

- That may be intentional or organic

- Vance may himself have decided that letting Rubio remain unaccompanied in the spotlight during a conflict that could go either way is good politics. Vance himself acknowledged the reality of the situation re: Rubio and foreign policy on 2028.

- I don't care what happens to Tulsi

- There is definitely a knives out movement for Vance among the neocon/Israel-first components of the MAGA alliance

I think you’ve highlighted something that is likely true but overstated the drama and its impact for the 2028 election.

It is likely true that Vance likely was not a supporter of the air war with Iran. Although Iran is guilty of just about everything alleged, it was still a war of choice and it doesn’t seem like something Vance could readily get behind. See his comments in the “Signalgate” controversy that came to light. However, this just means the administration can’t put him out front on this one. Putting the SOS in this role makes perfect sense.

Vance then cools his heels in the BS fraud council unril things cool down in Iran and other issues come to the fore. With any luck, they play to his strengths or at least to his flexibility on most policy matters. If things go poorly in Iran, Vance can lean into being the dissenting voice who had to be a good soldier.

A Vance resignation would tank the GOP for the foreseeable future.

I would be surprised, but he has been sidelined for some reason.

The Democrats are already favored at the midterms heavily and are favored in 2028 at the moment.

The path that Trump is on is leading towards a fully Democrat controlled federal government in 2028.

Said more succinctly.......a catastrophe awaits over the political horizon.

The one where he focuses on international politics over national, gets us into another ME war when he said that he wouldn’t.

The one where he appoints incompetent individuals (Bondi, Patel) who spend more time fighting for tv time than actually doing their jobs.

I mean I can keep going on.

I give zero shits about Iran. If Israel wants to attack them, they can go ahead.

I don’t believe any of the “they will get nukes” nonsense.

You sound like all the blowhards from 2001 and Iraq.

Lots and lots of people talked how they didn't like her. Where you been.

In times of military action yes, dissent is not popular in administrations. Never has been.

Calling a VP a eunuch is lazy analysis and you know it. Who was the last non eunuch VP slo?

Rubio is helping to spear all this why slo? Cause he's the damb SoS. When has a VP spearheaded military actions by the US the last 50 years? Thats their freekin job as SoS.

It's coming from a TDS-obsessed clown who won't even give Trump credit for shutting down the border, while simultaneously trying to downplay the effect of 20 million (low estimate) illegals being purposely allowed to infiltrate the country under Brandon/Obama.
Yes, that was great by Trump.

Then he decided to do what he said he wouldn’t do, which is start a war.

When the frick did Trump ever say he was opposed to any use of the military or just blanketly anti-any war, no matter what?

Trump has been very clear he is opposed to Cheney/Bush style neocon MIC fest, long, drawn out wars that do nothing but line the pockets of elites and unecessarily sacrifice American troops. Conflicts like Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, all wars that went on for many years and killed thousands upon thousands of American troops. The war with Iran has been going on for like two weeks. American troops are not on the ground there. We have a coalition of countries in the region helping us that have never significantly aided us before. You TDS f@gs are crying about all kinds of shite that hasn't even happened...
