I know it is heresy on this board to say anything even remotely critical about Trump

But it is becoming clear that the administration didn’t think this war through and just assumed it would be an easy victory.

It is almost like no one close to Trump had ever heard of the Straight of Hormuz and no one had the foresight to ask “what if Iran is able to block it off”

Poor planning all around and now we are stuck.

Anything but total victory is a win for Iran, radical islam, China etc.

And this country doesnt have the stomach for total victory, much less the time it takes to get it.

Statistically, no one is working three jobs. No one.

How many people do you know who are working three jobs?

I know a few folks who are essentially destitute but are not on any government subsidies. They work just enough to pay their bills. If they get an extra money, they spend immediately on some toy. None of them would ever consider working two jobs, let alone three.

Dunno. I've been in a GREAT bargaining position before only to have a dumbass pass on the deal and bankrupt themselves. Some people just don't know how to cut their losses. Was losing his business. Bank came to me and i offered him $100k over what he owed. Said it was worth way more. Ok, bye. Went bankrupt and still hasn't recovered 20 years later.

Some people just have to learn the hard way. shite, have a similar situation now. Someone needs out of a bind fast. NO other options that allow them to come out with any equity. Will lose everything, but balking at $160k over payoffs. Foreclosure in 2 weeks.

This the Iranians. Take a deal or lose everything. They just don't get it.

I am actually in agreement with this. I think the Iranian people have to play a role in that, with some form of support from us and Israel.

at some point, the same regime will realize that playing “kill them all, let God sort’em out” with the great satan is an endeavor of fools
eventually, a wise man or group of men will succumb to “discretion is the better part of valor…”

This is not a measured and rational thought, it is panic

Which is not just a little bit concerning.

isn't it possible, mind you i'm just spit balling here, that your occupation according to your profile of simply "being white" hasn't adequately prepared you to make these types of nuanced observations?

100%

The ridiculousness will amplify as the weeks go by and the MAGAs move the goal posts and proclaim strength and victory.

Oh, and you’re a CUCK!!!!

Do you register as an independent?

What are the advantages of that? You can’t vote in primary season, can you?

Me, for one, though I don't live in Shreveport or Toledo or Spokane. My share of the national debt currently sits at around $330,000.

one of the usual suspects

When you constantly take whatever position is anti-Trump for years why would anyone feel the need to take you seriously. You will just go away when you are wrong again.

Reminds me of the dude with 470K posts who tries to avoid admitting that he's a lefty because "I didn't vote for Biden. I voted for Kanye."

The CIA put out false intel of all sorts about who was rescued and when. The left went batshit because Trump remained in DC -situ room.

I dont GAF anymore about gaffes. Trump gonna Trump. If Trump worries anyone, go grab a pussy hat.

Trump says some cringe AF things. Either he is trusted or not...

Or maybe they see right through it and no it's just noise

Probably the best way to deal with Trump if you're in a war with him is to ignore him completely

Which seems to be their strategy
