My wild prediction is that Trump pulling out of NATO leads to a domino effect of Turkey and Greece going to war over Cypress, the Balkans igniting back into endemic warfare and ethnic cleansing, Poland and Germany getting in an arms race, and Romania annexing Moldova.
In addition, some nations could fall into civil war like the UK, Ireland, Spain, and Germany.

It will have to take a 2/3 vote by the Senate. So unless he can convince 66 Senators it is all just talk and a future President can send as many military personnel as he thinks necessary.
