Oh, they ALL say that? As soon as the word all comes up in an argument, I stop listening.

quote:lol. Jesus. I'll take that as a "no."
So what?! Some SEALs believe we should follow the Geneva Convention and some don’t. ISIS shows no mercy. We show no mercy.
quote:Oh that's the only "questionable" action alleged by his teammates under Geneva and other Laws of Armed Conflict, the UCMJ, and standing rules of engagement?
The only questionable example you gave was the girl he shot but would still need way more details.
And there's supposed to be a trial. Its point is to establish the facts "or details" of the accusations.

Voting for a socialist because of a pardon. How brave and principled of you
Exactly.
At the end of the day, anyone who could support socialism (or worse) because they disagree with a presidential pardon is flat out dumb.

Well in that case a criminal conviction would inappropriate. Right?

But there is the little detail of ongoing judicial misconduct as well.
So address it. If the proceedings need to start from scratch, so be it.
quote:Unless the men in his unit are just lying (and consistently telling the same lies) or he can established some diminished capacity, it looks pretty cut and dry. But, again, that's for a trial to establish.
It is a cut-and-dry case, right? The guys who were in his unit, and deployed with him all bear witness to his crimes, right?
quote:Who gives a shite.
Oh, but I am told Trump might be empathetic to the spying thingy too.

You’re a fool.
Guy needs a pardon so idiots like you don’t ruin his life in a jury trial.
And yea I’ve been to War. It’s ugly AF. And until you’ve seen it, shut your fricking mouth with your vacuumed perspective.

More than anything, 2 people decide if you're going to get promoted, the SMC and the Lt, not surprisingly the two men that were accused.

That's true but still hurts the overall goal.

Obama’s War crimes far out pace Gallagher’s.

You pathetic a-hole. Perhaps you should learn some civics lessons about the nation you presumably 'been to war' for.

OP, ever been to War?
I have.
If Gallagher actually did what he's alleged to have done, he ought to rot in a cell for a very long time.
Seven other SEALs spoke up against this dude at great risk to their reputations and careers. That speaks volumes.

I thought the same thing.
I read it was two guys with an axe to grind against him for being a hard arse, and they lazy asses. Let the rest of the platoon speak see what happens.

This has nothing to do with Gallagher, but still sounds pretty bad arse.
Sounds like Galllagher wasn't the only SEAL being "naughty" over there. Even Rear Admirals were giving the green light.
quote:
Rear Adm. Hugh Wyman Howard III (left), the commander of the Red Squadron, gave his officers a 14-inch hatchet (like the one on the right) as a way to boost the unit's 'Native American warrior ethos'. SEAL Team members allege they were used to hack at insurgents' corpses

Seeing it means seeing the true atrocities associated with war and what specifically led to those atrocities. shite happens quick in a country where every one hates you and half of them have the potential to kill you at any given moment.
Let me tell you this, ISIS ain’t punishing any of their “soldiers”.

All Chief Gallagher's fellow SEALs (as in the guys who were in his unit and deployed with him) say the guy was a psychotic PoS, but if you don't support him, you just don't understand warfare and are un-American. Trump knows his audience.
I defer to the other SEAL team members for Gallagher's character.
I do not recall your anger for Obama basically pardoning Bergdahl and trading 5 Taliban commanders in exchange for his release, the circus show in the rose garden with his parents, etc. But just as you say about Trump, Obama knew his audience back then too. Why would this be any different?
