If Trump pardons Edward Gallagher, I am done supporting him.

Gallagher deserves to stand trial for his alleged crimes, but there is some talk about Trump pardoning him.
It makes me sick to read what his fellow SEALs are accusing him of.
We close our eyes to inhumanity for tribalist reasons. Think of all the pro-abortion liberals who said nothing about Kermit Gosnell, or who rationalized (and do rationalize) the gruesome work of Planned Parenthood. Human life becomes an abstraction. Real war, the kind that gets people (unborn children, innocent Iraqi old men and children) killed, becomes nothing but an extension of the culture war.
It makes me sick to read what his fellow SEALs are accusing him of.

All Chief Gallagher's fellow SEALs (as in the guys who were in his unit and deployed with him) say the guy was a psychotic PoS, but if you don't support him, you just don't understand warfare and are un-American.

2 malcontents, with axes to grind. Just because you make thru BUDS doesn't mean you'll be make it in a team. Especially when you're in a team of hardasses, it doesn't take long to get exposed. More than anything, 2 people decide if you're going to get promoted,the SMC and the Lt, not surprisingly the two men that were accused.

But there is the little detail of ongoing judicial misconduct as well. Navy SEAL War Crimes Trial in Turmoil Over Claims Prosecutors Spied on Defense. It is a cut-and-dry case, right? The guys who were in his unit, and deployed with him all bear witness to his crimes, right? Kinda makes ya wonder WTF the spying is about, don't it tho?
Oh, but I am told Trump might be empathetic to the spying thingy too.
