is everyone in the establishment moving heaven and earth to keep him out of office? Surely it has to be more than personality.
This makes no sense.

Why doesn't it make sense? Trump is establishment, or at a minimum establishment-friendly, hard to argue otherwise.

But he's not quite the treasure Biden is for the establishment.

Yep.

Other than the God Emperor crowd, does anyone think Trump dominates the primaries without multiple dubious indictments?

Hell, he may not have even run if not for those.

He said he wouldn't anyway...

This makes no sense. If both are establishment, why go through so much trouble to keep only one off the ballot?

If you had two opportunities - one that nets you a million dollars and the other nets you a billion, and they're not mutually exclusive. In other words, you can put some effort into realizing the billion dollar opportunity, and if you lose you just have to settle for the million dollar payday. Wouldn't you work to get the billion?

Could have been a talking point if he needed to ask for money for the campaign cause od that bond

Unfortunately for the haters he doubled his net worth in day (and still climbing)

He will be able to cash out just in time

I’m actually one of those who initially wanted another candidate than Trump. I was supporting DeSantis early on. But, the constant attacks by the media, deep state, rinos, etc. made me want to vote for Trump. And the more they attack him, the greater my support grows.

Trump was the 1st president who never held political office since Ike. And Ike was a govt employee his whole life. Trump never was.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but if Trump was part of the swamp/psyop/whatever, he'd serve as a lightning rod, an excuse for the left to radicalize.

'Everyone against you is a nazi, and you're allowed to use any force necessary to defeat nazis.'

Whether intentional or not, he has served that purpose for them, and now they'll apply it to everyone who opposes them, not just Trump.

That's great but doesn't change one iota the establishment-friendly policies Trump advocated for/signed into law.

The question is flawed as is the accusation from the Ronbots that make that claim.

The complaint isn't a generic complaint about being part of establishment.

It was a specific complaint about the group of people that are/were the establishment of the GOP. These people are commonly referred to as the GOPe.

What's the flaw?

Trump is either "establishment" or an establishment stooge. In practical terms, it doesn't matter which.

No one believes he's a part of the establishment, that is an absolute joke of a "take."

They ALL hate him. Both sides. We all see it and know it.

Is Trump smart enough to play the game to use strategic alliances? Sure. Has he done a great job of that? .... eh.
