BS.

The new SCOTUS will rule in President Trump's favor by at least a 5-4 vote.

And since it will be a national emergency, it will get to the SCOTUS in less than a month.
He won't even play the card, because he knows it's a loser

You think the Supreme Court just blindly votes based on partisan politics instead of their own legal judgment?

9th Circuit and Hawaii can kick rocks. They're a small piece of the puzzle and Trump owns the courts now.

Either way... the wall is happening

It will depend upon the precise issues presented for review. I presume Trump appointed independent conservatines, not lapdogs

If I'm wromg, you guys have lost the right ever to complain about corruption or the courts.

The courts cannot stop the wall. Period.
If the executive branch bypasses the constitutional authority of congress to appropriate spending, then the judicial branch surely has the ability to stop it if they deem it necessary. In fact, that’s basically a primary reason for the judicial branch.

Trump may very well win in the long run, but acting like there won't be some serious legal obstruction to it is just silly.

President Trump will win in the short run because it will be a national emergency so the case will get to the SCOTUS in less than a month.

Or they'll slap it down because he pussyfooted around and didn't declare a national emergency months ago, so it's tough to argue that the declaration is based on an actual emergency and not political gain.

The POTUS has the legal authority to declare a national emergency when it is a national emergency and what's happening at our southern border is a national emergency and has been a national emergency for decades.

I'm sure if Obama did that, you'd be shouting "What an alpha boss" instead of "Treasonous dictator". Neither of those things are accurate.

Trump doesn't even need to declare a national emergency.

The nonpartisan Congressional Research Service (CRS) released a paper internally that suggests President Donald Trump may have the authority to use Department of Defense resources to build a wall without obtaining congressional approval or declaring a state of emergency.

Well that trinket seller served as own counsel in court and beat one of the most well renowned lawyers in the Bay Area. Just a few hours in the library was all it took.
