....except last year’s successful effort to lower corporate taxes and reduce the tax burden on the middle class, would you consider his presidency a success?

I think I would consider at least his first term a yuge success.

Supreme Court is more than enough to be a success alone.

He, indirectly, has exposed the corruption within our judiciary and political system. I've been waiting for that for a looong time.

I think any sane, rational person would say he overwhelmingly exceeded expectations.

Although, just imagine him with 6 more years

I think that begs the question....who the hell do average Americans back in 2024? How do you top that?

I would be happy with my choice and disappointed about illegal immigration policy.

Would be a complete failure. His only lasting impact would be the replacement of two GOP-appointed justices with huge fails related to spying and immigration.

You don't fix it with politics, that's for sure.

Sadly, as long as the establishment convinces us to continue to play the three card monte game we know as our political system, we will always lose and nothing will ever change.

Between the Judiciary, and lower taxes, especially with small businesses being included in a meaningful tax cut for the first time ever, it has already been a very successful Presidency.

He established his legacy a while ago with Judicial appointment. Very strict Constitutionalists, and very young. A true generational change, just starting to be noticed by those that haven't paid close attention.

Results > Outrage at Tweets and demeanor.

No because that just means he’s putting more on the credit card. Spending cuts should be the primary focus, and once that happens then worry about tax cuts.

Limiting the deductability of state income taxes is a huge structural shift in the tax code. I don't know who gets credit for that, but it is a fundamental transformation that I don't think most appreciate. Yet. It has the potential to profoundly impact blue states with high state income tax burdens that have not, to this point, been felt by their citizens because they were able to deduct them from their federal taxes. This is going to hurt, and people are only starting to feel the pain.

Aside from some of the obvious ones people have already pointed out. There is another large thing he has done.

A) Opened a bunch of eyes to media biases and bullshite.

B) given some of the republicans an actual backbone.

Hopefully whoever the republicans run in 24 will be a badass and not back down to the lefts bullshite like they always have before.

Great question, no answer of course. So not an outsider and not an insider. Quite the conundrum. A sidewinder maybe?
