The loss of votes from the chaos and turmoil within the party alone would negate any gains derived from her candidacy. And there would be absolutely no time for them to smooth things out before the election. Lots of hurt feelings and acrimony. It may sound like an alien concept to most of us, but there would indeed be Biden “loyalists” who would recoil over the appearance of him being thrown away. Same scenario with Harris. Among many other issues and reasons why a number of Democrats would be offended.
Not to mention who knows how many and to what extent there would be ministerial problems. How do they handle the donations that went to “Biden/Harris campaign”? Etc etc. JMO but I see that being an even worse situation than they’re already in right now.

Don’t get me wrong man I want to agree with all this. I just have very little faith in the American voting public especially women who lead a relatively comfortable life. I just think there would be a huge “pop culture” amount of support behind her due to how godamn stupid this country is. I think this board tends to forget that at times because it’s SO dialed in compared to the majority of people.
