Jesus Christ what a dumbass set of tweets. He just can't help himself sometimes. Downvote away but you've got to think in more nuanced terms than "TRUMPS WREKS THA LIBZ!!!".
Think about what's been happening lately. The different factions of House Democrats have been ripping each other apart lately. You've got AOC calling Pelosi a racist...That's been the front and center narrative of the last week. Instead of letting that fester, Trump gives them cause to reunite and focus on him behind the ever popular "Orange man racist, sexist, xenophobic" playbook. He set the fire and then handed the Dems and media the can of gasoline to make sure this blows up into a totally unnecessary media cycle.
All he has to do is point to the Democrats and how far left they've gone, evident by the fact that its destroying the unity of their party. If he can not be as crazy as them, he wins. Instead he says Immigrant members of congress should go back to their own countries. What did he think was going to happen when he tweeted that?
