That was a lot of money, but to say that was for Israel is going too far. Saddam invaded Kuwait leading to the first Gulf War. Clearly not an Israel thing. Then Saddam, to avenge Bush kicking him out, tried to assassinate him. Bush fil had that revenge as motivation, which had nothing to do with Israel. Plus Bush was evangelical, and he was bent on transforming the world. Israel played a part, but there were a lot of big factors.
