re: If local request unnecessary, why didn't Trump deploy National Guard earlier on J6?

If the President can use his own judgment without local input (which is obviously true, Eisenhower/Little Rock, etc), why didn't President Trump go ahead and deploy the Guard in advance for crowd control on J6? Why did he need anyone's request?
The Insurrection Act is the exception to the Posse Comitatus Act which generally bars the military from civilian law enforcement, allows the president to deploy the military for law enforcement purposes domestically in certain situations, such as when there is a threat of federal law being broken and state authorities are unable or refuse to protect the rights of its inhabitants. President Eisenhower and Kennedy both utilized the Insurrection Act to enforce school desegregation orders.
Trump wasn't going to declare Jan.6th an insurrection.

But he deployed National Guard on J6.

I was just curious about the president's procedure to deploy the National Guard on J6 vs in California.
Twelve Principles of Joint Operations
6. Unity of Command:
A single commander with the authority to direct all forces is essential for effective coordination and control.

OK. So who commanded the DC National Guard on J6?

It was not the commander. It is the mission commander. The commanding general sources. The mission commander determines what sources are needed for task and purpose.

This looks nothing like J6. These two events aren't comparable in any way.
The leftist retards don’t think that way. They are too concerned about their fragile feelings. They think they are special.
Newsflash leftist pussies, no one is special. Get a life, if that’s possible for you.

NOT Trump.
Next question.

Kash Patel showed written proof in court that Nancy Pelosi and the DC mayor rejected the National Guard days before J6.
MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, and ABC, did not show him that.

My take is that Donald Trump basically organized and endorsed J6,

Ivory was the National Guard deployed at any point on J6?
Yes. What's your point?

Good question. Maybe it’s a DC thing as it Seems like rules are different there, but I don’t know.
Posted on 6/9/25 at 5:23 pm to IvoryBillMatt
There are several different sets of law at play. The president can federalize the national guard when there is a direct threat to federal safety or in acts of rebellion and insurrection.
He can also ask for local authority to instances not described above.

Because January 6th happened and was over in a couple hours if it went on for multiple days like the Los Angelos nonsense then yeah they probably would have been brought in

I don't know what to tell you unless you're calling President Trump a liar.
Here's what he told the nation on Janury 7, 2021. At the 13 second mark, he says "I immediately deployed the National Guard...."

Acting Sec of Def Miller.
Testified, under oath, to J6 committee that he had no need to speak with the president on January 6 because, "I had all the authority I needed and I knew what had to happen,"
ETA: that wasn't part of the ABC production of the hearings and strangely escaped Jack Smith too.
