If Derek Chauvin gets out of Federal Prison, his reward will be being killed in State Prison unfortunately.

Derek should be free no matter what happens.

however, different states so this comparison is baseless. Derek, though innocent of that crime, is and was still a pos officer.

The kid will. No jury is going to convict a "kid" of murder if manslaughter is on the table.

eeeeeeh He sorta just stabbed a kid.

Thats murder.

I dont think the jury is buying the self defense argument at all. Even “imperfect self defense”

You know there is going to be one Karen in the jury, thinking she can do her part for reparations by voting not guilty.

She is probably thinking how much street cred she will get in her book club.

No idea where you get this idea, but that isn't true.

If it were, there would be no murder convictions

He's not a kid anymore.

He knew exactly what he was doing.

Chauvin is the kind of cop that you hope doesn't pull your wife over late at night when she's all alone. He didnt kill Floyd, but he didnt do anything to help him either. He felt that man's heart stop beating under his knee and didnt start cpr like a decent human should do.

Don't get me wrong. I think the kid should fry, not even go to jail for life. I just know there is always some element that will take the easy way out if possible.

Are longer deliberations better for the defense?

Anything less than 20 is bullshite to me.

The DA could have offered a plea deal to manslaughter and saved everyone a lot of time. Kid know manslaughter is his best option, so is the kid's attorney REALLY banking on a not guilty verdict? This game of which side blinks first is dangerous for his client.

That jury isn't going to completely exonerate him, do this is a risky move.

I love when people label offenders as "kids" only when it suits them.

Derek Chauvin at least deserves a new trial away from Hennepin County.
