Kamala will be very protected by the debate format. The moderators will protect by not asking any tough rebuttal questions to her. Her responses to the questions she does have to answer will be very vanilla and she will be coached to not try to go into details which is where she starts the word salads.

If she has a bad performance, it will be "important for us not to focus on one debate performance, but on the overall issues and the overall evil that Trump represents and absolute level of damage he will do to the country if elected."

I’m still not convinced she’s going to show. I’m expecting some blockbuster revelations about Trump that would make it unsafe

They are prepping her as best they can, and likely providing the questions in advance to help hit the lobbed balls they'll gingerly toss her way.
I'd like a live fact-checking during the debate to call out lies and misinformation. Have a huge screen behind them and identify the lie between questions.
I'd also like 100 random questions done in lottery ball style to make it as random as humanly possible. Pull a question and answer it on the spot.
I assume there are no earpieces allowed in this debate. Any info on that?

Yep. She's going to take little shots and tell all kinds of lies (that the "moderators" won't correct) to try and get under his skin. If he refuses to bite the shiny hook and merely remains calm, it will make her look atrocious and petulant.
Literally all he has to do is show up and stay calm, and he'll win. He did this quite well in the debate against Biden (other than the cringe derailment over golf handicaps), so we'll see if he can do it again. Harris has nothing to stand upon except for the promise of policies she stole from Agenda 47.
