My favorite occurrence in this charade.
The NOAA was found to have manipulated data, then admitted to having done so. One of the brilliant prostitutes, a Scientist, had published a "Peer reviewed paper, supporting the theory of Global Warming caused by man. When confronted by a young up and coming journalist over the recent discovery of manipulated data. The scientist retorted ..."Don't blame me I didn't collect the data."
If you didn't collect any data, what in the hell are you writing a paper about?
Every paper out of the Paris Accord is "Peer reviewed" by 5 scientists. Five hand selected scientists that od not allow any papers that dispute the theory. In fact, the GodFather of the CO2 theory recanted and states that it is Methane gas that threatens the atmosphere, not CO2. The problem with the hijacking of that theory? These idiots believe cow farts pollute the atmosphere, thus cows must be exterminated. That entire theory states that huge pockets of methane are trapped beneath the ocean floor, when a seismic event takes place and releases that methane. tons of gas can be released in an instant and overwhelm the atmosphere's capability to absorb massive amounts, causing an immediate warming in that location. Methane has a saturation ceiling, what is not absorbs eventually cools and falls back to ocean surface ....
The entire scheme is just a money grabbing con of the UN. If a Republican President gets elected in the next cycle, surround the UN with Marines and bus all the idiots back to their homes .....by the way, even with the windows rolled up .....buses are not submarines.

It's like trying to explain evolution to a young earth creationist or astronomy to a flat earther. It's just not possible to convince someone who is so deeply attached to their beliefs. Nobody's going to change anyone's opinions.
And unfortunately a lot of this stuff takes so much prerequisite knowledge to explain and discuss properly, but people without it will do "research" and think they don't need it, when that research is just YouTube channels and internet sites that agree with what they want to think.

I have not seen a single person argue that COVID is a fake virus. Everyone understands it's a virus, and a deadly one at that.
