Impeached from what position? He's not the President until after inauguration.

I asked someone the same question yesterday.

Hypothetically he wins, can an impeachment be waiting for him?

I get that, so would he not be inaugurated?

then what happens?

He would be inaugurated first. Then impeached (in your scenario). If Biden wins the election, regardless of what scandals come out, he will be inaugurated. After that, he could theoretically be impeached leaving the presidency to Harris.

In reality with today's political climate, impeachment wouldn't happen fast enough before he's sworn in.

the easy answer to this is that Trump gets elected for a 2nd term and Biden fades away into the sunset. China may have a problem if Biden doesn't win and ask for some of their money back.

More likely, he'll be indicted and forced to resign. DIMS will threaten impeachment or 25th Amendment.

Well and this whole scenario is assuming the GOP takes the House, which I think is highly unlikely.

Could he be indicted and arrested? Genuinely don’t know if that’s possible

A sitting President can't be indicted per the DOJ.

Not a chance

I guess that's possible.

Theoretically, he could be indicted prior to assuming office. I'd say that is highly unlikely to happen though.

Even if the Dems win the Senate, no way do they take 2/3rds.

That would set up an interesting quandary for Republicans. If Biden wins and the House files impeachment charges, do the Republicans get on board and vote to remove him, guaranteeing a President Kamala, or do they hold out and let Joe hold on hoping he won't be as far left as she is?

don't they want kamala in there though?

or do they want the easy puppet to stick around for 4 years?

not sure what the dems actually want, ideally

Certainly the house could draw up articles of impeachment and be ready to vote on them immediately after inauguration. But dems control the house of representatives, and they will at least until the next congress is sworn in on January 3rd. And even after that, it's really hard to imagine a scenario in which Biden wins the presidency, but democrats lose dozens of seats in congress.

A "red wave" could see Trump win and republicans take back congress. A close election might see Trump win but dems retain control of congress. But it's very unlikely there would be a red wave in congress AND a Biden victory nationally.

Well, I would suspect if tax evasion and fraud are on the table and not just at the federal level. There is nothing to stop him from being President if he is in State prison.

Kind of awkward but...

He's not a sitting President until he's inaugurated.

And, once he's indicted, he will never be inaugurated. The PROOF is way too strong. This SCUMBAG has been soliciting and accepting bribes for over 40 years. At first, he did it through his brother. Then, he did it through his kids. The emails CLEARLY show that he charges his relatives half of the graft that he gets for them.

I would put good money on Joe Biden NEVER taking office -- even if he wins on November 3.
