If tweet fails to load, click here. An IRS contractor illegally leaked President Trumps’ tax returns.
Trump sued the IRS for $10 Billion, and won!
Trump said I don’t want your money, and voluntarily dropped the lawsuit with prejudice In exchange for a formal apology and to establish an “Anti-Weaponization Fund” with $1.7B in it for those who were politically targeted and became victims of government “weaponization” or “lawfare”
Now…. Gavin Newsome says if anyone in his state recieves those funds, he will TAX them 100%

Wish these states were scared of Trump but they aren't.

What an idiotic notion this was. Surely someone told them how bad of an idea it is on the front end.

Is this even legal? 100% tax?

Well, kangs are good now, right?

Yeah, the evil DemoRats have sent out the memo on this topic and it appears they're planning on doing the same thing in New Yuk, I mean New York.
How 'bout we tax the politicians who get richer beyond belief with a hefty tax increase. They're always attacking the billionaires, let's take it to those money-grubbing, blood-sucking politicians.

They don’t care so much about legal. They’ll do it, then dare you to stop them.

The better idea was abolishing the the IRS

Isn’t this considered a bill of attainder, like trying to seize the bonuses of the people at AIG who stayed around to wind things down after the 2008 financial crash?

The J6 persecution continues in the blue states

Did he also have to apologize to himself?
Not sure you’re being fully honest with yourself.

“ He sued himself, so he couldn't lose”
Trump didn’t sue himself but rather the entity that harmed him. He personally didn’t collect a dime right? Him understanding that lawfare ( a reference denied happening by some on this board) caused harm to many by just being affiliated to Trump needed relief. Now if case against Pelosi gets traction in civil court that would be great

Winning implies adverse parties.
Absconded would be the more accurate verb.

The IRS data theft occurred while Trump was President, and he then sued his own administration for damages, more than a year after the statute of limitations had run.
Im being facetious ro say "he sued himself" but anyone can see the conflicts of interest and potential for self dealing when his own DOJ agrees to settle a lawsuit the judge was about to dismiss.
Have you wondered why the DOJ did not offer to pay any damages to the other litigants who were damaged by the same breach...and filed suit within the statute of limitations? In those cases the DOJ argued the IRS can not be held liable for actions of an independent contractor.
Maybe those litigants can apply for money under the anti-weaponization fund.
