Tell me this, if someone really believed “All Lives Matter” why would you have an issue with people bringing attention to the devaluation of black lives?
Could you please provide a link where I have stated that I have an issue with BLM.
I had no idea that I felt that way. Thank you so very, very much for being woke enough for the both of us to bring this to my attention. I feel much better now.
Oh yea, a reminder...again, please provide a link that proves your point about me.
Have a nice day......and GFY!

I had the pleasure of sitting down with a little white girl/woman yesterday and discussing this, so maybe I have some insight.
First a little about her, it supports my theory.
She was raised in a very liberal white family in a black community.
She doesn't vote, watch the news,or youtube.
She ALWAYS gets and/or feels the hatred of racism from black women when she's with black men.
(yes - she's smoking hot)
So she knows that racism IS systemic, Whites, Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics are all racist.
She opened the conversation with "did you go protest?"
She said to me first, "All lives matter".
But, young black men are going to jail quicker for crimes (mostly talked about drug crimes) than whites.
So her main thing/demand was criminal justice reform. She didn't know that Trump had already done it. She thought Kim Kardashian had gotten Tanesha Bannister out of jail for drug charges.
She never realized that the leaders of almost every major city in America were minorities, and as I pointed out, if there was systemic racism in those cities, it was due to those leaders.
She was surprised at the statistics regarding police shootings of unarmed whites vrs blacks, she believed the fairy tale that black men were being killed daily across America for being black.
She thinks Al Sharpton etal. are FOS and no better than Trump, Bush, Obama, and Clinton. Liars that can't be trusted.
In a nutshell, she's a white supporter of the movement that is an uninformed sheep. She's a daytime protester in Houston. She will never support defunding police, reparations, or gun confiscations.
So that leads me to the other two types of protesters.
Omars that want to use the distraction to destroy, steal, and kill. ( Antifa and the skinnys here)
Professional race-baiters that claim to own the protest but really don't have any sway. They seek to destroy, steal, and kill without getting their hands dirty.
So the messages you're hearing are from fakes that really don't give a rats arse about black people.
"All lives matter" is a common sense "Duh" that will cause their base to go home. It must be rejected.

I cant Think of a non-racist reason you would want to undercut BLM as a concept.
Black Lives Matter could be construed as racist, at least implicitly.

It’s called context
Yes, and the plain language of All Lives Matter is racially neutal. As Dr. King would have approved.

While there is nothing inherently racist in saying ALM
You're GD right.

it’s usually being said not to promote devalued lives but to undercut the other statement
WTF are you talking about?
quote:
the devaluation of black lives
By whom? The thousands of black lives snuffed out by other blacks every year in Democrat-run (for generations) urban shitholes?
The millions of black babies aborted since Roe v. Wade?
Or the handful of these unfortunate incidents who become international stories because of a crisis-selling, agenda-driven media?
Just exactly who is devaluing these "black lives"?
ALL LIVES MATTER

Seriously, all lives do matter.
"Black Lives Matter" was about black people being shot / brutalized by police.
Whether you agree or disagree, that's what Black Lives Matter is about. It's a platform for black people and their allies to discuss specific issues to black people.
"All Lives Matter" or "Blue Lives Matter" is just trying to hijack that concept and divert attention away from it.
I agree that all lives matter; but "Black Lives Matter" is a specific protest about black lives. Even if the initial "All Lives Matter" stuff was well intentioned, at this point, it's just a lame phrase people use if they don't want to acknowledge BLM.

Rightfully so. The issues go much further than black folks, but I dont expect indoctrinated people to understand.
If there is a war between black people and white people, or cops, the body count says black folks are winning.

That’s because “All Lives matter” is nothing but a farce. It’s protesting a protest. Who really cares about all lives when they say that?
I do. Unequivocally.

If "All Lives Matter" Is a Racist Slogan, Then Who's Lives Don't Matter?

No. ALM includes BLM, by necessity.
I want true equality, not this current environment where we only hear about police brutality on a wide scale if it's a white cop and a black victim.

What is Black Lives Matter protesting? Less blacks are killed by police than whites, per capita.

My thought process is different from that of the OP. I am part of the All Lives Matter grouo but I don’t have any issues with BLM.
The issue I have is that we aren’t allowed to say ALM and we aren’t allowed to talk about it.
I personally think everyone could come together to discuss the killing of all races by police and present a unified front.
But we are only focusing on one small piece

You're now the stereotypical black conservative. You're arguing with a white liberal determined to save you from other white people.
I bet you were in the military too. Way to conform to stereotypes.

That's where you're wrong Roger, your insanity is showing. The killers are losing.

This offends them, because they say this is about them right now. I find hypocrisy in the outrage of some black lives, but the lack of care for other black lives lost.
I am sorry, not sorry, but life is always precious to people of all backgrounds.

Right, but there isn't a war. There are 330,000,000 people in the United States and an average of ~15,500 homicides per year over the last 10 years.
LINK
In terms of body count, white people are either 60.4% or 72.4% of the population, depending on your definition. "White" citizens are only 40% - 46% of the total homicide victims in the United States.

Make of that what you will: I take it to mean black people, black men especially, are far more likely to die via homicide.
