The issue with getting away from collectivism is human nature. Tribalism has been part of our psyche since the beginning of time. That’s why it’s so easy for identity politics to take root.

You don’t fight Identity Politics with more Identity Politics unless you want more Identity Politics. If you want harmony and prosperity in our culture you zealously enforce The Rule Of Law. And you encourage people to judge people on the content of their character rather than base external features.
Identity Politics is cultural Primitivism. We can be SO much better than dividing into tribes with never ending grievances against each other .

America's evolution on race in such a short time has been nothing short of an unmitigated modern miracle.

OP is correct. When white people look around and seeing every single other group and subgroup putting their "identity" first and foremost, there's going to be resentment bred.

I think the whole "Pride" movement is fricking idiotic. Who gives a shite what color you are or who you like to bang if you're a worthless shite? That's what all these "pride" folks are. No matter the flavor, it's some worthless, do nothing POS that wants some sort of affirmation that they are awesome because they are part of some group. frick that. I'm all about a group of one. Want some pride? Try self pride. Take care of your shite. Be a decent person and pair your fair share.

OP said "partially responsible" right there in the freaking title, numbnuts.
Also, saying "identity politics is/are white nationalism" is inaccurate. White nationalism is a particular strain of identity politics. Different aspects of identity politics can and are directly related to the rise in other competing strains.
That's kind of the point of the whole game, tbh.
