The state of Minnesota law requires permits for both concealed and open carry. Do/did they have permits?
Personally I am for unfettered 2A rights, but states that restrict these rights largely under the auspices of public safety, can’t complain when their own laws are being enforced,

/ if you had read your cc weapon permit instructions you would know the answer/
What...Don't pick up donuts when the sign is lit...you may come across LEOs willing to take you out to reduce competition for the jelly-filled. WTF?

I’m sure concealed carry classes cover interaction with law enforcement
Only thing I really remember about that is that if you’re pulled over, you need to inform them that there’s a weapon in the car.
I don’t recall a specific situation like this being covered.

They also cover CC at rallies, protests and parades.
Most if not all prohibit it.

In Minnesota, permit holders are not strictly required by state law to immediately inform law enforcement of a concealed firearm unless asked, but doing so promptly is highly recommended for safety. Upon interaction, keep hands visible, calmly inform the officer you have a permit and are armed, and follow all instructions.
Key Instructions for Encounters with Law Enforcement
Initial Action: Pull over safely, turn on interior lights if at night, and keep hands on the steering wheel.
Notification: When the officer approaches, calmly state: "Officer, I have a valid Minnesota Permit to Carry. I am currently armed. My firearm is [location, e.g., on my right hip]".
Produce Documents: Have a driver’s license and permit to carry ready to present upon request.
Follow Instructions: Comply with all instructions, including requests to step out of the vehicle or temporarily disarm. Avoid sudden movements.
Best Practice: Disclosing status immediately is considered best practice, even though not mandated by statute. This can help minimize confusion and ensure safety.
A simple search would have answered your question, nowhere in these instructions does it say frick around with Fed's

Yes. Walking around ICE with a gun gives them the right to kill you.
This shite is so funny coming from the crowd that jerks off to fantasies of shooting ATF officers.

Unconstitutional bullshite. The 2A says Congress shall pass no law infringing our right to carry. Absolutely do not need a permit to do so.

A Terry Stop is the authorized stopping and detaining of someone based on suspicions that the person has been involved in illegal activity. The individual, in this case, is not placed under arrest, but detained – usually in handcuffs – for officer safety during a brief investigation. The term’s origin comes from the 1968 case Terry v. Ohio, in which the Supreme Court held that police are authorized to briefly detain an individual whom they suspect may be involved in an illicit activity. Further, the Court held that police may also conduct a search of the suspect’s outer clothing for weapons, if they feel such a search is warranted.
Metro ATL loved to put OC'ers on the ground while they were doing stuff like standing in line at Boston Market, particularly in DeKalb county, and this was there justification. That's why I don't OC, even though TX has permit-less carry, which would mean that the mere act of carrying a firearm shouldn't be used as pretext for a Terry stop.

ICE tried to disarm him for no reason other than he was open carry.
Are you sure about that?

The federal government SHOULD be afraid of citizens arming themselves. That’s the whole fricking point of the second amendment. To protect ourselves against tyranny.

Scenario covers a LEO interaction involving a vehicular stop.
Does walking out of a donut shop with a open carry constitute fricking around with the Feds? They have no right to take my firearm unless I impede or obstruct them in their duty performance or threaten them.

I'm amazed at the stupidity of some people trying to flaunt their "rights" in front of LEO in this environment.
I'm amazed someone can be comfortable putting quotes around a constitutionally guaranteed right.

Is it curable or a permanent disability?

The scene you described isn't what happened. Are you intentionally being dishonest?

If disability benefits are involved, then I’m confident that you are taking advantage of them.

Of course you received the "true" story from OAN, FOX, or DHS.

Your dumbass self won’t believe it regardless of the story and I can’t wait for the “I’m super conservative but” shtick

Commiting a felony then resisting arrest while armed is not a good idea.
