I worked for a company that lost it's way and had massive, massive turnover. The glassdoor reviews were brutal.
They told us they would dig into who was posting them, and they asked us to post a positive review, with guidelines on how to post properly to look legitimate. Not too positive, ya know. Maybe a couple people did it. Then the absolutely fake reviews showed up using terms that ONLY our HR would ever use.
Friend in HR quit and said they were forced to write the reviews from home, and admitted that glassdoor would gladly remove negative reviews, especially if you posted job openings, if you could simply prove 1 of a few reasons such as ... too negative, personal info, etc etc... the promise glassdoor gives you is bullshiat.
