Your sentiment is common. The Left is deeply in the Revolutionary stage now. It happened so fast, as it always had in history. One day you are hanging out in France and the next day you are watching the French Revolution guillotine fest. It makes sense to limit any contact with people who think women have horse cocks, our children should get their junk cut off, white men should endure humiliation rituals and Donald Trump staged his own assassination. It’s a process of dehumanization, which always precedes bloodshed. So it makes sense to limit contact with people who nurse these fantasies. And of course, being a mind virus of the weak and aggrieved, it spreads quickly.

I think we've all pretty much reached this point sadly. I can spot DEMs pretty well and avoid them like the plague. If one of them tries to talk to me, I start talking to them about both my sons and I's hunting adventures, and shooting guns, etc. That usually turns them away pretty fast.
The only ones I have to associate with now are in my wife's immediate family ( a couple of her siblings and their spouses). But I only mostly see them on major holidays and maybe once a month when we all get together at my mother in law's house.
