The post you quoted was a direct response to the OP that said all medical students will be looked down upon like car salesmen and lawyers.

So the problem you have with the OP is the word "all"?

Okay, but I'll just note that this is a politics discussion board and hyperbole rules the day.

I think his point is spot on if you wade through the sensationalism.

The only reason they go into medicine to begin with is money, so I doubt they care.

No one trusts doctors anymore after they all made $$$$$$$$$$$ on covid Vax and did not look for real cure. They went along with big Pharma and could not think for themselves!

Easy money? You don't have a clue.

I lost all confidence when they started lying about Covid. That was it for me.

Bullshite……they all lied individually. Every time they pushed the jab. Every time they didn’t think for themselves. They f-ing knew.

This. It's easier for me for you to self treat with diet, exercise and other lifestyle changes. Writing prescriptions is extra work for me, especially if it requires a PA. WE DON'T MAKE shite OFF OF PRESCRIPTIONS.

I just with these people that are so anti-doctor and think all we are doing is scheming on them would identify themselves before they come into our offices. 99% of my patients are great and appreciate the care and services I provide them. Some people can't be made happy, so I show them to the door.

This is a very important detail they fail to consider.

And I'm guessing that if you injected every medical professional in your city with truth serum and asked "What doctor should I avoid at all costs?" you would keep hearing the same two or three people.

He likely doesn’t want to practice this way.

He is forced to, as it’s how he gets paid.

He’s operating the cash register.

So all doctors did this? News to me because I was against it from day one and advised anyone that asked not to get it. My wife wouldn't even sell it at her pharmacy. We passed up on between $1-1.5million in profit by not giving or pushing the vax. I'd say half of the doctors I know were against it.

But many didn't think for themselves and trusted the CDC and the experts like we are supposed to do. I can't fault them for initially falling for it, those that continued to push it for profit or any other reason after it was obvious that there was no benefit, only death and side effects, can burn in hell for all I care. They did lessen the public's trust in us and hurt the profession.

Choose your doctor wisely. Those of you with shitty opinions of doctors probably had shitty doctors. Of course, there are those that no one can make happy.

You'd refuse care for a patient because they are too critical/skeptical of your industry?

If they just assumed I was one of the "bad ones" and couldn't be convinced otherwise? Yes. I'd encourage them to find a physician that they trusted to do what's best for them. Without a certain level of trust, you cannot treat someone effectively and you're just inviting a lawsuit by letting malcontents hang around. I have a reputation that I have built over a quarter century. I take patients by referral only and have not advertised in over 20 years. I have another physician and 4 busy mid-levels working under me. I've never sent a patient to collections or denied care for inability to pay. I bend over backwards to help my patients and take care of them in any way possible, and not just limited to medicine. I've been recognize for excellence at the state and national level. I'm the medical director for two of the largest defense contractors in the world and several other prominent companies.

If that's not good enough for someone, then I'm not going to waste my time on them. Especially those, "My time is just valuable as yours" types. No it's not. I'd never wait two hours to see their asses.

I think part of it is a self fulfilling prophecy for many. They with send up so many red flags that good doctors won't see them or don't trust anyone so they end up with some desperate shitbag that will put up with their shite attitudes because they need the money.

I will admit that the overall quality of care and physicians has declined dramatically over the last 30 years or so. They've made the profession less and less respected and attractive to quality students. We haven't had a raise in 20 years and corporate overlords make many doctors miserable.
Try to find a doctor with a good reputation that owns their practice. You'll get better care and service. Unfortunately, it's become cost prohibitive for younger physicians. Now less than 10% of doctors own their practice and shrinking by the day.

I simply don’t have anything to do with Dr.’s who are black women unless they have an unpronounceable name and speak with a foreign accent. American black women all get lumped into the “DEI Avoid” category.

Nobody is arguing that there is no doctoring that's high value and necessary for a healthy/productive life. What's being pointed out, and should be obvious for anyone paying attention, is that the medical industry isn't special/altruistic (like it sees itself) and is pretty pedestrian in that it's chock-full of bullshite, fearmongering to drive revenue, and teeming with entitled dipshits patting themselves on the back.

I couldn't have put it better.

Previously doctors were considered model citizens. Smart, wise and leaders in the community. At one time they deserved thus. Opinions are changing. Doctors that work in large clinics are employees now with all pressures and burocracy that comes with it.

The average TD poster thinks attys all advertise on billboards. I get to deal with the fallout when people don’t hire attys for their business dealings. Not smart.
