Way overrated. Whataburger is much better as a fast food place.

And don't give some argument about fries. Fries are irrelevant. I want a good burger.

was readying to post this

Their Avocado bacon burger.. mmmm

Another place is Cookout Burgers. They have good food, are open late, and they teach their employees to provide polite, friendly, and efficient service.

That being said, fast food is always, ALWAYS a last choice

Dude whataburger sucks—thin flavorless patties and cold fries. It’s marginally better than McDonald’s but that isn’t saying much. I don’t know why this board hypes it so much.

Burger is so good but those fries any which way you “hack” them are absolute trash

In the north east Florida region, Tasty Burgers beats the hell out of Whataburger.

If they get one they will get a bunch. Tht's how they entered TX, set up the supply chain for it, so it makes sense to open a bunch of them.

I had one in Pasadena. It was awfully crowded, traffic backed up on the street and took 20 min to get the order.

The burger is OK, but the produce was fresh and not wilted so it didn't look fast food.

I don't get it either. It's very similar to a Sonic burger but on a near stale bun. The party melts are a little better. But they do make good milkshakes.

And I really don't care for any fast food fries. Just an instrument for eating ketchup.

Probably think Dennys > Waffle House, too?

Their quality decreased when they were purchased by a hedge fund.

Nope.

But you’re welcome to keep making wrong assumptions.

You will in next few years. They are building a new headquarters in Franklin Tennessee. Should start to see some stores pop up in that area next year and they plan to expand out from there.

I agree. Took fam on road trip recently and ate their for first the time in L.A. and Vegas. Pretty cheap to feed 6 people full combos in Cali for $55

People give them a lot of shite because of their conservative politics or because they are a threat to Texas’s beloved Whataburger.

I ate at the Katy location one time when it first opened. I don’t even remember the fries but I remember thinking how thin and small the beef patty was on the burger
