When you pray, pray for humility, pray for wisdom, pray for sanctification and obedience to the Creator, and above all pray for the unsaved, that they will hear the Good News and receive their salvation. Salvation that Jesus Christ through much anguish and pain unselfishly provided to all who seek the Truth. And pray for those who have rejected our Savior and instead have chosen the world. Pray they have a change of heart, soul and mind and they seek to be born again as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Fully support. Bring on Christan Nationalism.

Humans are moist robots.

If we can get them all running the same program the world will be a lot calmer and peaceful.

I mean, this is what the Steven Pinker books are about. You have the illusion that this is some grandly violent/negative time, when in fact it's likely - TODAY - the very least violent period in the history of mankind.

The irony is I imagine for most posters (given demographics) the era they see as halcyon (which corresponds with their childhood) was much worse.

We do have some legit boomers that this would not apply to, but then those people even had to live through the tumultuous 60s and early 70s, which was like today's political divide but on steroids.

Islamists are about the least progressive people on earth - which is a major reason nation building doesn’t work

Having a personal relationship with Jesus ( being born again) has nothing to do with Christian Nationalism.
Saved people are suppose to act as temporary visitors waiting for their eternal homes.

Or, just imagine the day when you STOP reading the newspaper. You would have no idea any of those things was going on and your life would be calm and non-violent.

That is until you drive out your neighborhood and see all the homeless heroin addicts working every red light and strip mall parking lot.

86ing the CIA/MSM tv agitprop and newspapers only goes so far.

Yes.

You are speaking of spiritual salvation.

I'm talking about using religion as a programmatic tool toward a more peaceful and prosperous society.

I get that they aren't the same.

But look at it this way, if the government puts its thumb on the scale in favor of Christianity, then the odds of people finding spiritual salvation increase.

Seems to me that is a win-win.

I have no problem with the government encouraging Christian or moral ideals, and this would certainly benefit society. I am, however, against government mandating any particular religion.

I mentioned this is on the OT board, our home was damaged in the EF-4 London-Somerset tornado last month. Within a quarter mile radius, we lost five neighbors.

The support and kindness afterwards was overwhelming. People offered to help clean up, feed the neighborhood, provide financial help. Even FEMA had their act together.

It renewed my faith in humanity. There’s never going to be a time free of sin and corruption, until Christ comes, yet humans are capable of kindness and charity.

I would recommend doing a 30 day cleanse, no social media, no OT/PT, no cable news.

There is not “global chaos”, there is not “death and destruction”.

There is societal decay but it is mainly due to people like you and this board letting algorithms, bots, grifters literally rape your brain.

Take a 30 day break, touch some grass, read a book or 3, and you will be shocked to discover the “real world” that surrounds you.

Plenty of positive and uplifting human interest stories out there if you consume the right information. Stop watching the news. You’ll be surprised how much better you feel and how that will translate to others.

This was supposed to be an America First era.

Instead we're facilitating war. Just tune the global shite out.

Chief, I wouldn't read too much into my rant. I've NEVER bought into religion.
