I don't know Roy Moore personally but I was always turned off by his Bible-beating sanctimony. Now I've been willing to give him the benefit of doubt regarding the allegations and the "mall trolling", but his personality, and his politics, would keep me from ever voting for him.
I hope he gets out (he's ruined whether or not the allegations are true). Failing that I'm confident he'll lose.

You aren't wrong. The most politically expedient thing to do would be for Ivey to delay the election long enough for the GOP to have another nominee, but that's just a liiiitle shady and it would upset a lot of voters.
If I were a writer for some two-bit liberal rag, or a late night TV personality, I'd be licking my chops at the thought of Moore being in the Senate.

You have any clue who will run for the mayor of Huntsville once Battle becomes our Governor?

And as long as the party isn't retarded again, he'll get beat

I'm as right-wing as they come. The religious right voted for this a-hole in the primary. We'll have to reap what they have sewn no matter what. Moore should have never won the primary.

Ivey isn't going to do that because she wants to run for Governor herself next year and would be facing a lot of Moore voters and that's why she's telling DC repubs to get fricked. Grandma wants to be more than just a seat warmer.

He still gets beat if the party didn't
1. Get behind the slimeball who just slow walked the gov investigation
2. Run scorched earth on Brooks such that every Brooks voter hated Strange with a fiery passion when it was done
