As others have already said, it's not about an NFL player speaking out. This one is more about the reaction to it. Anti-Trump and you get glorified by the MSM. Pro-Trump and you're reflexively labeled a misguided dumbass.
With that said, Jim Brown does more community work in one year than most NFL rosters combined. That guy once played football. Since then he's done an amazing amount of good in his own and other communities. He is the example most would hold up and ask the current generation of do-nothing, shite-talking NFL players to live up to.
