I got it because I didn't want to get Covid again. It was before the mandate and I'm still glad I did it. But I am a little dismayed by all the new rules forcing people to get it now, which kind of makes me want to be a pain in the arse about it and refuse to show proof of vaccination and stuff.
Either way, it doesn't matter to me if you - person I don't know - get it or not. Most of my loved ones who are past child bearing age or are 40+ have gotten it and I honestly believe that will save their life if they get covid.
I wish people would stop dying from it but when a big fatass with diabetes who's all about not getting it ends up on a vent, I mean, it sucks but it's not like people didn't warn you. I guess they stuck to their guns so yay. But the bad news is that they're dead. So who wins?
If you're old or fat, get the shot. If you're under 35 and in good shape, don't. Nobody should make you do anything you don't want to though. You should have the right to get Covid and die from it if you want to.

Sounds like you are a CNN viewer...and that's fine. You ever hear of the Constitution, though? So you're one of those who figure it's your way and everyone else is wrong for not getting the vaccine.
Let's say your little pecker falls off and you hear some of those 3oo people you know who are fully vaccinated are having the same issues with their little peckers. Aha, then it dawns on you that maybe it's a side effect from the vaccine! Of course I'm exaggerating to an extreme but imagine a scenario like that? Don't knock those who choose to skip the shot. Pfizer both shots 2nd in April. Covid Mid-August. Didn't get 4 months protection?

"mild side effects" is encapsulated in the OP's description. I too know hundreds of vaccinated and no issues at all. I also know two non-vaxxed that died horrific deaths (and they were fit).

I don't know anyone that has died of Covid and only one 2 who had serious cases. Both have diabetes and overweight.

My three neighbors (all vaxxed) were just diagnosed with covid. Two are 80 something, one is about 60. None in great health. Just told my wife. So far not hospitalized. One has Parkinson’s. Two have diabetes. One a chain smoker.
