That increase would apply to less than 1% of the US population, but if you want to white knight for the super wealthy by attacking a 29 year old freshman House rep, knock yourself out. No, the pain will be felt by the middle class. There is no doubt about it. Lost hours, decreased wages, more responsibility.
This is how it works. Why is it so hard for one side to understand that. The rich have options. No one else does. When you try to take from the rich, they simply pass the loss down the chain.
When you pinch the rich, it is the middle class that feels the pain. EVERY TIME. When you help the rich, you help the middle class.
What did the rich do with their tax breaks??? Pocket the money or hire a bunch more people and increase wages and bonuses???
