That's so much more classy than wishing you well and offering you their support and prayers.
Liberalism is a fricking religion, and Covidianism is a cult. Anyone who doesn't fully subscribe to their ideologies, even their own kin, must be ridiculed, shamed and relentlessly badgered. It's disgusting and sad.

Right, but people are getting denied monoclonal antibodies because they aren't sick enough yet and aren't in "vulnerable groups". This is documented to be happening
This is certainly not true in the Lafayette area.

Don't wait. Regeneron works better the earlier it's given. Find an MD who prescribes monoclonal antibodies and get it. It's not uncommon for folks who aren't as healthy as you to be w/o symptoms w/in 24 hours of treatment w/ Regeneron.

You can’t get monoclonal antibodies in the inpatient setting.
Correct. Once one's sick enough to be hospitalized, the illness is too advanced for Regeneron to work

I'm honestly baffled as to why monoclonal antibodies aren't everywhere
I haven’t had a difficult time finding them at all.
It's been readily available at our rural hospital that has given over 700 doses of Regeneron. OTOH, it can take a lot of work for the hospital pharmacy to find it and keep it in stock. It also requires a lot of effort to set up an effective process and staff appropriately to administer it. I don't think all hospitals have aggressively pursued administering Regeneron.

Is anyone keeping track of which doctors to use to get monoclonal antibodies once you test positive? It's not like you have a lot of time to dick around once it happens.

This is a weird statement for me to understand. If a person thinks a covid infection presents a real risk and will require treatment, I would think that person would get themselves vaccinated. If a person has chosen not to get vaccinated they’ve determined covid isn’t a major risk. Why would that person now be concerned with sourcing treatment when faced with the mildest of strains yet.
People throwing cures and treatments at the OP in this thread when it appears the OP’s fact pattern calls for chicken soup and sprite for a couple days.

Tested positive 2:00pm on Wed.. had monoclonal infusion Thurs 8:00am. I've had worse colds or sinus infections. Only weird thing is the no taste or smell... Told wife she could cook anything she wanted that I didn't like to eat.. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway..

I’m unvaccinated, 44, fine health, and normal weight. No co-morbidities. Some liberal family members are giving me shite for not getting vaxxed. Looking forward to taking hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, getting over it in a couple days, and telling them to frick off.
Hopefully this ^^^ is what happens and your lunatic family members will in turn suffer more than you because you kicked Covid19 arse without an experimental vaccine….lol!

It's not a vaccine.

But why. They’re just as likely to catch it.

So you believe that vaccinated people have nothing to worry about when it comes to COVID??

The fact that this upsets people should be a big red flag.

I'm vaccinated and I would still want to get monoclonal antibodies if I got sick with COVID. You know why? Because I'm not a fricking idiot that worships authorities.

I didn’t mean my post to be an attack on you. Everyone has a different approach and thoughts on covid. I assumed you were unvaccinated because I frankly don’t know many people who are vaccinated that would also immediately want to throw the kitchen sink at a positive test result.
My family is in the midst of two confirmed covid tests and two other presumed positives. My twice vaccinated wife feels crummy and the unvaccinated toddler spiked a 103-104 fever and got Motrin/Tylenol for about 18 hours. My thrice vaccinated self feels fine and is taking care of all these sick betas. Four days in we are mostly just bored and in a pre-covid world would be on track to resume normal life Monday morning.
It never occurred to me we needed to see a doctor or do anything other than just rest and monitor at home. I’m not sure where this approach leaves me on the authority worshiping, fricking idiot scale.

As long as it doesn’t turn into pneumonia you’ll be good.

I'll tell that to my wife who's attending her Aunt's viewing today. She passed from the COVID "cold" on Wednesday.

What’s the story?
Vaccinated? comorbitities? Age? Did they try any early therapeutics? MA’s? Ivermectin? Remdesivir?

Ok thanks. That's not the point of the post I was responding to and suggesting otherwise is disingenuous and I think you know that.
