I work for a Fortune 50 corporation that has become extremely woke over the past 10-15 years and quite frankly is off the rails with this SJW crapola today.

We’re told to refrain from using any symbolisms, speech or behavior that could be interpreted as insensitive to others. The other day I was using our corporate messaging app and the person I was messaging had a picture of George Floyd with some SJW crap typed under the image proclaiming Floyd as a symbol America’s inequity and racism.

I seriously thought about calling or emailing HR to report an incident of workplace harassment/violence. So my question is a three part question.

Do you believe having any picture or symbolism of BLM/George Floyd/LGBTQ….XYZ is a violation of a company’s code of conduct when the code of conduct says no symbolisms, speech or behavior that others could interpret as insensitive or inappropriate to others?

If you saw a picture of George Floyd on a corporate messaging app would you contact your HR department to file a complaint of workplace insensitivity/harassment?

Would you think it was ok to display a picture of Kyle Rittenhouse after seeing the George Floyd picture on another employees messaging app screen?

Yes

Not if it was important to my family that I keep my job

Again, how important is the job to you?

But you already know what the deal is...

The only people whose feelings matter to woke corporate entities are liberal progs. They don't give two shits about stuff that offends conservatives.

Definitely call HR. I find it horribly ethics wise that a Fortune 50 company promotes the use anyone that robs pregnant women and overdosed on fentanyl. Your leadership really needs to take a look in the mirror if they would trust someone like George Floyd with their children.

Are there rules about posting political statements/pictures on the app?

What about posting misinformation given the fact there is not a single shred of evidence Floyd's death had anything to do with racism.

Is what they meant. Seriously

You considering it insensitive or inappropriate will be construed as the insensitive or inappropriate act

What’s the race and gender of the person with the picture?

Could you explain how posting a picture of George Floyd, with the symbolism that accompanied it(since that's the example you used), could be taken as insensitive?

I would ask if that type of imagery is appropriate. If they say yes, then I would do this:

quote:

display a picture of Kyle Rittenhouse

If they then tried to do something to me about it, I'd refer back to the email saying this was okay.

Uhh, because it was a symbol and rallying cry to burn and loot cities across America based on a fricking lie that a racist cop killed a black man. I’m offended at the stupidity of people falling for this BS!

What’s your Code of Conduct?

Mine includes snitches getting stitches, so if your company allows that BS and it pisses you off, then find a job with a better company, and leave that shite company with SJW morons.

You’d be targeted if you do. That’s how they work.

1. Yes

2. Hell yes

3. No. For the same reasons as 1 and 2

Keep politics out of the office. Has no place there.

If this happens, document everything that changed after you changed your messaging app image. Be detailed. Make them fire you, then hire a lawyer.

Def the most important factor. If it’s a white person you can say you felt they were trying to make fun of the George Floyd situation and intimidate the black and brown peoples at work.

Answer: Your company is led by hypocrites who are appeasing the woke mob. As soon as you openly defy the status quo, you will be terminated. Remain silent until they say silence is consent. Then pack your stuff.
