Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a partner strong enough to be by your side and help you all survive and thrive. We need each other. Best wishes. But maybe you should not get out to vote for a couple years in your condition.

How long were you in the hospital? Seems like you got out quick.

What is the diet you are on. And exercise regiment. Keep us posted because who knows who will be next.

I’m 32 and recently started the Keto diet. I wasn’t overweight by any means and would consider myself to be pretty fit. After hearing story after story from my friends with various health conditions, and how Keto cured them all, I decided I would make a change for the sake of preventative maintenance so to speak. Have you considered or heard of the Keto diet?

I’m sorry this happened to you Euro. Fortunately yours was a wake up call and not the end. Our time here is brief and uncertain. It’s good to keep that thought in the front of our minds. I hope you recover fully to take care of The Little Man.

use ketosis and intermittent fasting. you can lose 60 lbs in 5 months. use the protein shakes. 1k cals a day. 500 calorie meal at night. you can do higher cals if u want. the high protein keeps you filled up. the weight will fall off you. and guess what? minimal EXERCISE. with caloric intake that low it backfires if you exercise too much. you can lose 90 lbs in 90 days with liquid diets. they are not for everybody. good luck.

Counting calories helped me out several years ago. I went from 255 down to just below 170. I'm back to just above 200 now and I'm back to counting calories to get back down to 170.

Good luck and stay healthy.

Take your time while rehabbing. You're in it for the long term.

For those overweight, what tips do you have to help/encourage them to lose weight?
